AMEROUS 4-Sided Wooden Shut the Box, 1-4 Players, 10 Dice

On the table

The rules take a minute to learn. Roll the dice, add them up, and lay down numbered tiles that match the total. Each of the four sides has its own row of tiles numbered 1 through 10, printed clearly, so up to four people can play around one box — or one person can play alone.

We build the box from natural hardwood, smooth to the touch, with a solid structure that stands up to enthusiastic game nights. The floor of the box is lined in soft green felt, which gives the dice a proper place to land. Ten dice come in the package, including two extras in case some wander off.

It is a friendly way to practice number operations with kids, and lively enough for a party of adults. The instructions are included, and house rules are welcome: adjust the details however your table likes.
