AMEROUS 12.5" Magnetic Chess Set with 2 Storage Drawers

On the table

Here the board doesn't fold; it sits flat on the table like a small piece of furniture, with two drawers built into the base. Slide them open and the pieces are waiting. The playing surface measures 12.5 by 12.5 inches, a comfortable size for a desk, a coffee table or a child's room.

We proportioned every piece to match the others and gave each enough weight to stand firmly. A light magnetic pull keeps them on their squares if the board gets moved mid-game. The wood has a fine texture you can feel under your fingers, and it is built to hold up through years of regular play.

Detailed chess rules are included for newcomers, along with two bonus queens. The set arrives in gift packaging, which makes it an easy choice for birthdays, anniversaries and holidays spent around one table with family or friends.
