AMEROUS 12.8" Magnetic Walnut Chess Set with 2 Storage Drawers

On the table

Not every set needs to fold. This one is a walnut board, 12.8 inches on each side, meant to live on a coffee table or a shelf and be ready whenever someone sits down. The walnut has a delicate texture and real detail under the hand, and it is durable enough for years of regular games.

Two drawers are built into the board. Pull them open after the last move and the pieces go inside, so the set stores itself without a separate box. The pieces are proportioned to one another and weighted for stability, with a slight magnetism that holds them to their squares if the board gets moved mid-game.

We pack it in gift packaging and add two bonus queens. It suits beginners, kids and adults equally well — a board handsome enough to leave out, and practical enough to actually use every day of the week.
