AMEROUS 15" x 15" Folding Magnetic Chess Set with Storage Slots

On the table

This is the set we think of as our standard. A 15 by 15 inch wooden board with a clear, crisp pattern, crafted wooden chessmen with a handmade feel, and a magnet under each one. Wind at a picnic table, a jolt on the train, an elbow at the kitchen counter: the position holds until you decide to change it.

Fold the board and it becomes its own case. Each chessman drops into a dedicated slot inside, so pieces do not knock against each other in transit and none slip away between games. We smooth the underside of every piece, which keeps moves quiet and keeps the surface of the board free of scratches over years of play.

The finish is gentle on the fingers and made to last. Give it to someone who is learning, or keep it by the door for the next trip. Either way, the board is ready whenever an opponent is.
