AMEROUS Magnetic Wooden Chess Pieces, 3.03" King, 2 Bags

On the table

Magnetic boards have a habit of outliving their pieces. One knight goes missing under a car seat and the whole set is retired. We make this replacement set so that doesn't have to happen: handcrafted natural wood chessmen with a magnetic hold, offered on their own without a board.

The king stands about 3 inches tall, and the remaining pieces follow in classic Staunton proportion — a size that suits school, home, club and tournament play. The wood is finished smooth, with an even texture that feels good to handle. On the board they stay put, even when the game is on the move.

Two drawstring bags come with the set to keep everything neatly organized between games. The packaging is carefully designed too, so the set is ready to hand to a fellow chess enthusiast as a gift.
