On the table

Tall pieces change how a game looks from across the table. Our largest chessmen have a king that stands 3.75 inches and a queen at 2.95 inches, so the position is easy to read at a glance. It is a complete set, with one side in a light finish and the other in dark.

We make these in plastic for the places where chess is part of the furniture. A school classroom, a coffee shop shelf, a kitchen table where games start and stop all week: these are the spots where pieces get handled constantly. Felt on the bottom of each one lets it settle quietly and treats the board kindly.

This is a pieces-only set, so no board is included. Pair it with the board you already have, line up the light and dark sides, and you are ready for the next game wherever enthusiasts gather.
