AMEROUS Wooden Staunton Chess Pieces, 3.05" King, 32 Pieces

On the table

A good board sometimes outlives its pieces. A pawn goes under the sofa, a knight leaves with a visiting nephew, and the game stops. This full set of 32 chessmen puts it back on the table. We make them from natural wood in the French Staunton style, and each figure is crafted by hand.

The king stands just over 3 inches, and every other piece is scaled in proportion to it. That size pairs best with boards from 12 to 17 inches. We smooth the underside of each chessman, so the pieces will not scratch the surface of the board you already own and care about.

A drawstring bag is included for storage, and the set arrives in a gift package. Collectors like the hand-carved figures; players simply like having all 32 pieces on the board again, ready for the next game.
