  • 15-inch wooden board folds in half for easy carrying and storage
  • Magnetic pieces stay on their squares outdoors and during travel
  • Individual storage slots inside the board keep every piece organized
  • Two bonus queens come in the box alongside the full set
  • Smooth-finished handcrafted pieces move quietly and resist scratches

On the table

We built this set for games that do not stay in one place. The board opens to a full 15 inches of wooden playing surface, and every piece carries a magnet, so a bumped table or a breeze in the park does not rearrange your position. When the game ends, the board folds in half and travels light.

Inside the folded board, each piece has a slot of its own. Nothing rattles, nothing goes missing, and setting up next time takes a minute. Our makers shape every chessman by hand and finish the surfaces smooth, so pieces move quietly and stay free of scratches. Two spare queens come along for the day a pawn makes it across.

It arrives in a gift box, which makes it an easy present for a beginner or a child just learning how the knight jumps. Open it, set the pieces on their squares, and it is your move.
