AMEROUS 15" Chess & Checkers Set, Weighted Pieces, 3" King

On the table

One board, 64 squares, two classics. We pair a full Staunton chess set with 24 wooden checkers — a dozen light, a dozen red-brown — so the same table can host a long strategic battle or a quick round before dinner. It works for adults and kids, at home, at school or at the office.

The board is handmade from solid wood with a fine, even grain. Unfolded it measures 15.6 by 15 by 0.97 inches; closed, 15.6 by 7.5 by 1.94 inches. Our chess pieces carry extra weight for a satisfying feel in the hand, and the king stands 3 inches tall. Smooth bases keep play quiet and the surface unscratched.

Chessmen and checkers each have their own slots inside, so both games stay sorted. Two extra queens and a gift package round out the set. Fold it shut and carry it to wherever the next game is waiting.
